Taylor Swift has donated her gorgeous prom dress to charity.
The country superstar gave away her long cream and gold Jessica McClintock gown, to Hearst Magazines’ DonateMyDress.org, which gives girls across the U.S. a chance to find their dream dress.
Taylor wasn't the only generous star to give to the cause, as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Nikki Blonsky, Eva Amurri and Ashley Greene also donated their dresses to be auctioned off.
According to People, the Love Story sensation was happy to part with her dress and told them, "I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it!
"To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress."
Her gown fetched a whopping $1,200 at the charity auction, so we imagine one little girl will look like a princess come prom night!
