Alexander Wang has proven the funtionality of his capsule collection of his H&M campaign in a new film.
The Balenciaga creative director - who is set to release his new collection for the high-street retailer on November 6 - has produced a "video game" style advert where models Joan Smalls, Raquel Zimmermann, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana and soccer star Andy Carroll battle their way through a number of challenging environments.
He told Style.com: "We wanted to find a way of representing those performance-wear functionalities in the film by putting our cast in extreme conditions and by making it appear easy and graceful for them to take on something that seems like a challenge.
"The girls had to feel strong and heroic."
Alexander added that he "started with the idea of these characters who are almost superhuman, yet with a sense of playfulness and irony."
The film - which was shot in an underground theatre in Islington, London - is available to now.
Meanwhile, the fashion designer recently confessed it was an "honour" to have designed a range for the store and promised his pieces will be "good-quality" and have integrity.
He said: "I have always shopped there and it was such an honour to be asked to collaborate.
"I wanted to design new pieces of performance and sportswear, making good-quality pieces with their own design integrity.
"It's not just the desirability of the product, but the way the collaborations become such a worldwide event, making designer fashion so democratic.
"I cannot wait to see people wearing the collection, from the street to the gym to a night out."
