The 22-year-old beauty is reportedly no longer with the prestigious modelling agency - who first signed her age 15 - and will now be solely represented by US-based talent agency William Morris in order to focus on her acting career.

A source said: "Cara left Storm a month ago but it's been kept very much on the down-low.

"The reality is Cara doesn't see her future in modelling now and with the acting taking off she didn't need the pressure of the agency."

And Storm boss Sarah Doukas is particularly disappointed to lose the blonde beauty from her books.

The source continued: "Sarah was gutted to lose her huge cash cow - Cara's now one of the biggest models in the world with huge earning potential from brands. But Cara wants to do what makes her happy and fulfils her. She knows that's not modelling in the long term.

"She obviously has William Morris guiding her in the US already so there's no point giving away money to her model agent.

"She's very much taking control of her career these days and this is the latest move to becoming a lead actress in the US."

However, Cara - who is currently filming Marvel's new movie 'Suicide Squad' - isn't quitting modelling altogether and will continue to star in campaigns for big luxury brands.

The insider told The Sun newspaper: "She's not quitting modelling all together yet.

"It just means all the big fashion houses will go to William Morris - she will only do some big campaigns for the likes of Burberry."
