Conchita Wurst made her catwalk debut during Jean Paul Gaultier's Autumn/Winter 2014 show.

The 'Eurovision Song Contest' winner took to the catwalk at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris yesterday (09.07.14) to mark the end of the French designer's show.

The bearded beauty - who rose to fame after winning the singing competition with her rendition of power ballad 'Rise Like a Phoenix' earlier this year - joined the likes of Dita Von Teese, Rossy De Palma, Beth Ditto and Madonna to become the latest unconventional icon to close a Jean Paul Gaultier show.

The 62-year-old designer dressed Wurst - who is the alter ego of 25-year-old Thomas Neuwirth - as a dark and sultry bride in a stunning oriental-inspired gown, false eyelashes and hairline jewels for the catwalk finale.

Jean Paul told The Independent newspaper: "I met Conchita two years ago she came to one of my couture shows. I loved her look and when I heard that she will represent Austria for the Eurovision Song Contest, I was delighted. When she won I was crazy with joy.

"I always say that beauty is difference and Conchita has shown us all that she is unstoppable. And she looks great in couture; she is a real couture woman."

Meanwhile, at the time of the Eurovision competition, the famous drag artist dedicated her victory to equal rights, saying: "This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom. We are unity and we are unstoppable.

"I share the opinion that this was not a victory just for me but for the people who believe in a future that works without discrimination and is based on tolerance and respect. This transcends borders."
