Jasper Conran has launched his new range of glasses created especially for the high street.

The designer has been working with Specsavers on his first eyewear collection. The 36 piece collection is designed to be affordable and stylish.

"As a glasses wearer myself, I was delighted to take up this fresh design challenge develop a new range of glasses with a strong, sophisticated look that is readily accessible to everyone," he said.

Jasper is the son of designer Sir Terrence Conran and over the last 30 years has established himself as an equally credible name in the industry.

His first women's wear collection was in 1978, followed by his first menswear collection in 1985. In 1999 he designed crystal for Stuart Crystal and later china for Waterford Wedgwood and he also has an exclusive range at Debenhams.
