Gigi Hadid has pulled out of the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
The 22-year-old model has announced she will no longer be taking to the runway in Shanghai, China, for the lingerie giant's annual fashion show, and whilst she hasn't given a reason for her cancellation, she has insisted she'll be supporting her fellow models "in spirit".
In a tweet posted to her Twitter account on Thursday (16.11.17), she wrote: "I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x (sic)"
As of the time of writing, it is not known why the blonde beauty - who is in a relationship with musician Zayn Malik - decided to pull out of the show.
Gigi confirmed in August that she was due to return to the runway at this year's fashion extravaganza, and admitted it was "a dream come true" to model for the brand.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: "Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show !!! (sic)."
Whilst Gigi won't be strutting her stuff on the catwalk this year, her younger sister Bella, 21, is still expected to appear in the line-up alongside Victoria's Secret Angels Alessandra Ambrosio, Candica Swanepoel and Adriana Lima.
Previously Bella had also shared the exciting news of her upcoming venture on her photo-sharing site.
She wrote: "@victoriassecret I am so excited!..!!!!Thank you @[email protected] @johndavidpfeiffer and of course the wonderful, incredible @ed_razek + everyone on the team for making this dream come true again..
