The 19-year-old actor-and-singer has made headlines with his bold outfit choices and has described himself as "icon" who is breaking down gender stereotypes in fashion.

Taking to Twitter, 'The Karate Kid' star posted: "If I Wanna Wear A Dress, Then I Will, And That Will Set The New Wave ... JADEN SMITH #ICON. [sic]"

Jaden is vocal about the trends of the fashion industry and he has been pictured sporting a skirt whilst accompanying 'Hunger Games' star Amandla Stenberg to her prom, and has featured in a womenswear campaign for Louis Vuitton whilst and even launched his own gender-neutral clothing line to promote a positive attitude to fashion and gender.

'The Pursuit Of Happiness' star - the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith - has also created 'Just Water', an initiative which creates a biodegradable paper water bottles to minimise plastic waste and the young star wants to make a difference in the fashion industry by collaborating with G-Star Raw to create a sustainable denim range alongside the brand's co-founder and singer Pharrell Williams.

Speaking about the collaboration, he said: "What they have been doing with sustainable innovation recently has been so inspiring especially with the launch of their most sustainable jeans ever. They are at the forefront of denim sustainability, on top of the denim game. It's the same thing I've been trying to do with my Just Water initiative, to innovate in an industry where there is so much room for improvement. G-Star is a great place for me to collaborate, learn and make a positive impact on denim and fashion."
