Kristen Stewart wears a playsuit from the Louis Vuitton SS13 collection

In 2013 there seems to have been two standout collections that celebrities have clamoured to wear, and we have to admit, we’re thankful that they did.

The Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 and the Givenchy Fall 2013 pieces were a hot commodity and easy-to-spot too. Thanks to the bold chequered print of Louis Vuitton and the instantly-recognisable Bambi print featured on the Givenchy pieces.

As the Louis Vuitton SS13 collection was shown in September 2012 we got to see this creep onto the red carpet late that year, with Kristen Stewart and Hailee Steinfeld early wearers of the collection. And as soon as 2013 there was influx of the chequered print on the red carpet. Miranda Kerr, Kirsten Dunst and Juno Temple also tried the trend, but our favourites were Jessica Alba who opted for the monochrome colour palette to the 2013 Golden Globe Awards After Party, a perfect red pout completed the look. And then Kerry Washington also worked the look to a photocall for Django Unchained, her sixties-inspired look was the perfect mix of sweet and stylish, with white-hot accessories completing the look.

The Louis Vuitton collection was spotted on no less than 16 celebrities, an incredible feat for such a huge, bold look.

Another favourite this year has been the Givenchy Bambi print sweaters, not quite the whole collection, but this one piece has definitely been a standout.

The Bambi and female form print sweater is most definitely less ferocious than the Rottweiler shirt that dominated the Fall 2011 trends, but it certainly hasn't stopped it from being a a must have.

Carine Roitfeld first wore the jumper to this year's Met Gala, which had a punk theme, and again during Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week. Songstress Monica opted for a more casual approach with hers, wearing it with leather leggings, sneakers and a denim shirt wrapped around her waist. Lily Collins and Anna Dello Russo both wore theirs as a mini dress, with Anna choosing to belt hers.

But it wasn't just the Bambi print sweater that made the fashion rounds, another Givenchy sweater from the same collection was spotted on Cheryl Cole, who also wore it as a dress and Ciara, who wore hers sat front row at the Givenchy Spring 2014 showcase.

Both fashion collections have done incredibly well this year, which do you think will be the standout for 2014?
