For the first time Lydia Bright steps behind the camera for her fashion collection
Lydia Bright might be best known for her role on TOWIE but she’s certainly working hard to change that and make her mark on the fashion industry.
The stylish lady launches her Spring/Summer 14 collection and after three consecutive sell-out seasons this one is sure to be a hit once again.
Her label, Lydia Rose Bright, has a distinctive modern vintage aesthetic but this season we see an expansion of the brand’s signature look with new strong shapes and styles in the form of structured one-piece jumpsuits, button-up shifts, playful prom dresses and elegant evening gowns.
This new collection marks a new phase for the fast-growing label.
Lydia comments: “Response to my Lydia Rose Bright collection has been overwhelming and as the brand evolves at every level, I wanted to indulge my true passion in the process – the design. For the coming season expect to see lots of eclectic new pieces in the line and an exciting, totally new campaign.
“The Spring/Summer season is all about having fun – summer weddings, the races and prom. I get so many girls visiting my boutique looking for the perfect dress for that all-important event, so I wanted to create those styles that you long to belong in your wardrobe! Without doubt this is my most exciting and fashion-forward collection to date.”
Lydia’s attention to detail again comes to the fore in a love affair with textural lace, experimentation with unique necklines and commitment to wearable lengths and cuts; and a perfect seasonal colour palette including ice cream shades, sorbet brights and timeless neutrals makes the brand a new go-to in occasion wear.
Since stepping away from her role on TV’s The Only Way Is Essex, Lydia set her sights on forging a serious career in fashion; and with an emerging label, stocked at major retailers including ASOS, River Island and Lipstick Boutique, and burgeoning Bella Sorella boutique business, she has fast achieved her ambitions.

White Wonder
Effortlessly sophisticated, a white dress is the Spring/Summer answer to the LBD. White will continue as a key trend well into next season, we saw how popular it’s been throughout winter. In ladylike figure fitting, ultra flattering lace, or high neck prairie prom styles; these dresses are the must-have occasion wear look for SS14.

Introducing a new shape into her collection, SS14 sees a selection of jumpsuit styles make their debut. Featuring signature style notes, such as sweetheart necklines and delicate bead detailing; Lydia’s jumpsuits are versatile with that all-important hint of glamour.
Sorbet Brights
Refresh your look and go for a pop of colour with a sorbet shade. The Lydia Rose Bright SS14 collection features a palette of bright hues – from zesty lemon to eye-catching coral. Working these modern shades into vintage inspired designs including lace button up shifts to A-line swing dresses; these styles are a feminine take on a bolder statement look.
