Rita Ora for adidas Superstars

Rita Ora for adidas Superstars

Rita Ora, David Beckham and Pharrell Williams question what it means to be a superstar in the latest adidas campaign.

The 'How We Do' hitmaker, retired soccer star and 40-year-old music producer all appear in the brand's latest advert to launch the return of their Superstar collection of trainers, which were first released in 1969.

In the film - directed by Karum Huu Do - each celebrity questions the true meaning of the word and what it means to be a present day 'superstar'.

The famous faces - who also include Basketball star Damian Lillard - go on to slam various interpretations of fame and living life in the spotlight.

Rita says: "If you think a superstar is people wanting to know where you are, who you're with, reading about what you've had for breakfast or caring about what you wear at what event..."

David continues: "If you think a superstar is keeping fans happy..."

Pharrell then finishes each of their sentences by saying: "Then I am not a superstar."

The film will be accompanied by six shorter edits including a 30 second version to launch 'Get Lucky' hitmaker Pharrell's Supercolour collection.
