The 49-year-old actress is mother to eight-year-old Valentina with husband François-Henri Pinault, and admits her body has changed dramatically since she became a mother.
But as she shared an old picture on her Instagram page, Salma insisted she wouldn't change her life situation for anything.
She wrote: "This was my waist before pregnancy. Now it's not the same but my life is so much better."
In the snap, Salma is seen flaunting a tanned, toned figure in a white two-piece with a tiny sarong.
Salma is still the proud owner of one of the most sought after figures in Hollywood, and recently revealed she doesn't eliminate fat from her diet to maintain a slim frame.
She told Extra back in July 2015: "I think people are afraid of fat, and fat is your friend.
"This is very important, and I make a bone broth that you can look up on the Internet, it's very good for all your health and it's full of collagen, when you drink it, it's like fat."
She also shuns regular intensive workouts, and prefers to stick to restorative yoga to keep herself in shape.
Salma added: "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles."
