For years we've been telling our men that socks and sandals are a big no no and now they have topped a poll of the worst looks.
The What Not To Wear In Hotspots found that socks and sandals are considered the biggest fashion faux pas for Brit men on holiday, closely followed by Speedos, according to survey organisers Debenhamns,
Another frowned upon look is the English tradition for wearing hankie on the head.
Rounding off the top five was the lager lout favourite Union Jack shorts.

3 Sarongs
4 Hankie on head
5 Union Jack shorts
6 Bum bags
7 Nipple piercings
8 Football tops

i dont think that wearing socks and sandals is fanx pas i wear socks with sandal because i feel very comfortable in them my feet feel so good i like going for walks with them on however... READ MORE

I don't think nipple piercings are really fashion per se. It's not like someone would say, "Hmm I think I'll wear my nipple ring body instead of this shirt today." It's just a choice so... READ MORE

If one intends to leave the house in socks, one wouldn't use them on sandals.
