Donatella Versace has dedicated her latest collection to US presidential candidate Barack Obama, claiming he is "the man of the moment."
The fashion designer presented her Spring-Summer 2009 line in Milan on Saturday night whilst paying tribute to the politician.
The show was part of the "moda Milanese" menswear preview collections in the city which ended yesterday.
Versace's said the new collection was inspired by "a relaxed man who doesn't need to flex muscles to show he has power," reports ahn.
The new designs have a casual lazy summer's day feel with rolled up jacket sleeves and pastel tshirts under suits.
The most notable suit in the collection had a jacket without lapels further emphasising the chilled out direction on summer menswear.
