Topshop's Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Top, £22

Breast cancer can touch and affect all of us at some point but it can also unite the fashion industry as a cause close to the heart, through the project Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

The worldwide initiative was inspired by Ralph Lauren in 1994 and has so far raised £9 million in the UK

This years campaign which launched yesterday sees a host of high street labels supporting the charity be designing some great on trend pieces and accessories with 30% of the profits going towards the charity.

We know sometimes charity clothes can be more about doing your bit than actually picking up a stylish outfit but this is different as all the pieces are surprisingly fashionable and things we could see ourselves wearing.

This years theme is black and white, as seen on the SS09 catwalks at Chanel, Gareth Pugh and Dries Van Noten. Shops to get in on the act include Marks & Spencer, Topshop, My-Wardrobe, River Island, By Malene Birger and Lulu Guinness so you'll be able to find something whatever your budget!

There are bow decorated dresses, polka dot underwear and charm bracelets but our favourite pieces are the casual, yet cool tops we can dress up to fit our own style.

Topshop's offering is this oversized circle T-shirt, £22, which can be worn with skinny jeans, a leather jacket and biker boots or if bought one size bigger can become a dress to wear with wet look leggings, killer heels and gold accessories.

Touch onto Springs nautical trend with this stripy Warehouse top, £22. Wear it with jeans or a skirt, gladiator sandals and an anchor pendant to get the sexy sailor look.

Finally we love this animal print long T-shirt, £19.50 from Warehouse. Cinch it in at the waist with a skinny belt and add gladiator sandals to keep it on trend for the season. The animal prints are perfect for Spring/Summer and now you don't even have to pick one print as clashing is big news now.

Remember 30% of all profits goes to breast cancer so get shopping!
