Tell us about the new campaign that you’re working on with Wonderbra.

Basically I’m working with them as a stylist, helping with their new Haul of Fame competition. I’ve set up style briefs on the Wonderbra Facebook page for girls to upload a look that they’ve sourced from their wardrobe with a recommended Wonderbra that matches with their look. Then I'm going to judge the best looks and pick the winner from that. It’s a really good competition with such a good prize, especially for those who want to get into styling.

It also shows that Wonderbra have a bra for all occasions, no matter what you’re wearing.

Is there any particular one bra shape you would suggest we buy?

I think it’s quite tricky to have just one to be honest, especially with underwear because I’m a big believer that underwear creates the outfit. If you only have one shape you are limited, which is why I think that they main key ones that Wonderbra have are fantastic. If you have each of those you’ve basically got every outfit covered. There are so many different necklines now, and obviously with strapless or one shouldered the Ultimate Strapless is brilliant for that.

You’ve got so many plunging necklines where you couldn’t wear anything that’s going to be seen at the front and a lot of girls need to wear bras, so the Ultimate Plunge is brilliant for that. Then you’ve got your everyday t-shirts and vests where you want an everyday shape, so the T-Shirt bra is brilliant for that, it’s seamless as well so it’s really smooth. The Full Effect bra is amazing; it boosts your boobs by up to two cup sizes. I think it’s important that girls have lots of different bras.

Now on to fashion; which trends stand out for you this season?

I really love Gothic Glamour, the black lace, velvet, chiffon. I really love the trend, I think it’s gorgeous. Everyone gets into black when it’s cold and dark, but it’s the textures and the finishes that I really love.

The Baroque is really gorgeous too, very dramatic, romantic and lovely. Obviously black and gold looks amazing together.

Then on the flipside to that, there is so much gorgeous colour around at the moment, blush pinks and deep purples were on the catwalk. Then you have purples, teals, jade greens, oranges – I think it’s such a really nice time for people to get into colour or to add little bits into their wardrobe.

What pieces would you advise that we invest in this season?

Leather is absolutely everywhere and it is obviously more expensive to buy but it’s something that will last you forever. It’s coming in so many different forms now whether its sleeves on coats, a shift dress, t-shirt, trousers, there’s everything in it. I just advise that you find your piece that you really like and looks best on you. Leather is a really good investment because it’s never going to go out of fashion.

Which small pieces can we be buying to update our wardrobe and make it on-trend?

I’ve actually seen quite a few baroque belts, so that’s great to turn any dress or outfit that you already have into the perfect Winter 12 look. Collars as well, they can be worn with everything and they come in all different forms as well, so beaded or lace for example. They look great just over a t-shirt or sweater – they’re a lovely little instant update. There are also a lot of really dramatic drop earrings around, which again can really update your look cheaply. There are some really lovely navy and purple feathered ones around that are beautiful, I’m quite obsessed with feathers at the moment.

What would you say is the ultimate investment piece for our wardrobe?

I think the main one would have to be a coat, it’s essential to spend money on a good coat. There are so many good ones around at the moment, everything from leather trench coats to sheepskin, wool, capes, parkas, lots of two-tone fabric coats. Smart, fitted, tailored knee-length is probably my ideal shape. Keeping it classic means that it will go with a lot more and last a lot longer too.

Whose celebrity style are you lusting over?

Well, I’ve had quite a bit of a style crush for quite a while on Olivia Palermo, I love how she puts an outfit together and I love how she mixes high street with designer. She is always so perfectly groomed as well and always looks so individual as well. She always looks feminine and sophisticated.

Which celebrity would you love to be able to change their style?

Right now, probably Tulisa. I’d love to see her in a completely different look. She’s kind of been wearing a similar style for a while now. I’d like to see less colours and a more sophisticated and classic look from her. She has such a great figure, and I prefer her as a brunette as well.

Finally, Christmas party looks, what should we be going for this season?

More is more with Christmas; it’s your one chance in the year to go over-the-top. As I said black is everywhere, there are some really lovely things in black, a lot of people will probably go down the lace, chiffon, feathery route. But there is also a lot of embellishment, a lot of beading and sequins. It’s nice because there are a lot of burgundy and navy sequins. There is a lot of colour coming through in the dresses as well. Metallic colours too, they always tend to come out for Christmas. Suits are back in quite a major way, so I think that’s quite nice for girls who don’t like to wear dresses. There are some girls who don’t like to show their legs off so a nice cool trouser suit will work well for that.
