Celine Dion's take on the androgynous look
Wearing a suit to the Christmas do this season, seems to be what this look is all about. It's pushing the fashion boundaries and suggesting that women start to dress like men.
The androgynous look has been around for years, but this season it gears up with women wearing men's suits. Whilst, in the past it has mainly stuck to men's pieces, like a blazer or a cigarette pant.
It was Celine Dion who managed to 'kill' this look for a while, when she sported the back-to-front white satin suit to the 79th Academy Awards in February 1999.
It is now back. When Leighton Meester, Olivia Wilde and Jessica Alba jumping on the bandwagon you know that this is going to be a season hit.
Keep the suit to dark colours, and accessories to a minimum, a beautiful heel and a small box clutch are all this outfit needs. It speaks for itself and boy does it speak loudly.
Cropped trousers look best and an undone button on the shirt screams effortlessly cool. Remember light layers when it comes to this, so you're not too hot under the flashing lights.
