David Beckham wearing an on-trend grey suit

Suits are a staple item in a man's wardrobe and each season comes new styles that you must invest in.

Whether they're for an occassion or everyday wear, finding the right style and fit is a pivitol moment in your wardrobe,

This season, Spring/Summer, there are four different types that you should be wearing.

Whether you're spending a small fortune or not you need to find the right shape that suits your frame.

For a little help on which shape will suit you then read this helpful article.

Blue suits are big news this season, seen on the runways at Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani and Michael Bastain, it's time to ditch the navy and opt for the brightest blue your style and personality will allow for.

Wear this suit with tan shoes and a tan belt -black will only make it more appropriate for winter.

Now, this trend will be a little more tricky to pull off and you'll have to look to the higher end of the market for something that's just right. Suits that shine are not to be bought at discount price - because then you're heading to fancy dress territory.

These were seen on the runway at Patrick Ervell, Gucci, Simon Spurr and Bespoken, so if your budget stretched to these, these designers would be the best place to start.

Another classic, the grey suit. They never date and ofcourse there are the dreams that you'll look as good as David Beckham or Jamie Redknapp in it.

Louis Vuitton, Corneliani, DKNY and Canli had the best on the runway. Look to them for inspiration and new twists to try.

If you already own a grey suit that you love just add new pieces, like a different colour shirt or a new pair of shoes.

The final new trend in suits if the cotton one.

Absolutely perfect for this sweltering heat.

Take a leap out of Brad Pitt's book from Cannes this week and pair it with a simple white tee.

Bottega Veneta, Tommy Hillfiger, Roberto Cavalli and J. Crew had the best designer options.

Again with this style you'll need to pay a little extra to make sure that it is of good quality and shape.

Keep the look casual with lighter colours too.

Which new style will you be trying?
