American designer Jeremy Scott brought the fun factor to Paris Fashion Week with his Mickey Mouse inspired autumn/winter 09 collection.

Backstage at his show Scott told reporters: "When he came in 1930, in the middle of the Depression and all of those horrible things, he brought so much joy. And I thought, 'That's kind of where we are now. Why not Mickey Mouse?'"

Mickey's signature colours, black, white, red and even a touch of yellow formed the colour palette for Scott's collection and his face and profile appeared on pieces.

His profile appeared on a cute button down red mini dress, a bow front peplum skirt dress and a body con dress with fluted skirt. All pieces would look stunning on their own but the Disney detail added something special to them

Model's wore scarves and coats made from the white gloves that form part of Mickey's signature style. His trademark red shorts with black braces also made an appearance over a sheer top.

Mickey's female companion Minnie was not left out either and her red and white polka dot style was put on shoes. Mickey made his own shoe appearance as his face decorated the tongues of yellow sneakers.

It was not all Disney fun at Scott though, pieces also came emblazoned with dice, telephone and keypad designs as well as pieces covered in multi-coloured plastic buttons.

Kanye West seemed to be a fan of the colourful collection. He told the Canadian Press: "I love the colours."
