Style Icon: Ed Westwick

He may be in his early 20s but Mr Westwick has some smooth style moves that many men can learn from. It doesn't matter if you're in your 30s, 40s or 50s you too can copy the look and have the ladies falling over their feet to be close to you.

Few will argue when we say that Ed knows how to dress for those formal occassions. He finds a great balance between smart and style; the great thing is you don't need to be A-lister to achieve it.

More and more men are finding the open collar look works for them. In summer this is a good idea as it keeps the look cool (temperature as well as style). Grey is a good option for formal, white shirt and the shades tucked in keep it fresh and youthful. Well worth a try next time you don on a suit!

The more casual look works well too. Here we have slightly messy hair, just style with your fingers. The printed T-Shirt with the blazer is very trendy and suits the preppy phase hitting the highstreets this season. Get the sleeves rolled up for extra attitude and some bracelets on the wrists for the summer/holiday look.

A lot is happening in this look. The shoes and the hat are great for the safari trend and topping off with a simple shirt and jeans completes the look. The eyes are drawn to the top and bottom of the look with the bit in the middle making up the rest. It may look like a lot of work, but a hat and some brown shoes to look like this? There's no contest really.

Have a look at some more of Ed's looks if this is your thing. The man-cardi and thin scarf look teamed with some pointed boot/shoes is always a good look. It is possible to look masculine with a sense of style.
