Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman

We're nearly at the end of our list now, but fear not we've still got over a week to go, so lets continue with our next instalment of the fab spring fashion guide, which gives you the rundown of all things stylish and chic for the month of April.

With British summertime now officially having started, there's no better time to have a spring clean around your wardrobe and to adopt new fashion trends for the months ahead.

We've complied a list of all things hot for SS09, made up of trends, people, designers, and a few odd things thrown in here an there, for you to have a bit of a giggle over.

So let's continue our fabulous countdown with the letter U...

Uma Thurman: Ever since her wig wearing days in Pulp Fiction and her penchant for wearing yellow tracksuits, we have been big fans of Uma Thurman and her style. She recently dazzled on the red carpet and showed off a new hair do, so we think Uma most definitely deserves to be in our hot list this month.

Ulysses: Now this could be the song by Franz Ferdinand, or the Legend of Ulysses, but to us it's just a term we use to describe the fashion that will be hitting the high-street this summer. Soft fabrics, floaty florals and plenty of delicate lace and pearls. Gorgeous!

Ugly Betty: The original fashion fest is back on our screens later this summer for a third series, after season two ended somewhat abruptly. Expect more mismatching fashion from Betty, as Patricia Field continues to spark our imagination with her fabulously OTT style.

Underwear as outerwear: You may have read our feature a while back, about how bras were going to be fashionable outside of your actual clothing, and unfortunately it seems to be catching on in the high-street. Both Alexander Wang and Henry Holland showed the look on their catwalks, and Mischa Barton has even been pictured sampling the trend.

Umbrellas: Yes, ok we may well be experiencing some gorgeous weather at the moment, but we all know the rain is coming, so invest in a statement brolly now!
