Tell us about your jewellery collection and where your inspiration comes from?

Inspiration comes from my travels. I adore travelling and every new place leaves such an impression on my mind that I end up designing an entire new collection on the plane back home.

Has jewellery design always been something you've been interested in?

I always loved little sparkling things! I remember as a child in my grandmother house on the Sicilian east coast,  making beaded jewellery that I would give to her friends as presents.

Which other jewellery designers have inspired you?

I love Bulgari. I think their use of coloured stones is superb.

Where would you like to take your collection next?

The direction of the brand is moving towards more affordable and everyday luxury which is in tune with today's economy and clients' expectations.

Then where would you like to be in five years time?

If I would love to continue designing jewellery but from a lovely sunny location! I love the UK but this weather is really getting to me now.

Who would you love to see your collection on celebrity wise?

I would love Olivia Palermo to wear it as she envision the idea of effortless chic and we were extremely thrilled when Naomie Harris wore some of our jewellery for a launch event. Having the jewellery on a Bond girl doesn't happen often for a small brand!

Who would you say your collection is designed for? It is designed for independent, fashion-conscious women who appreciate quality but doesn't think it's right to pay a hefty price tag.

How about your personal style, how would you describe it?

I do not follow trends as all my clothes are more glamorous/classic. I let the jewellery do the talking.

If you could only wear one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is a difficult question to answer! It will have to be my wedding ring. It is a promise made for eternity, no?

Layering jewellery is a hot trend at the moment, what tips do you have for carrying it off stylishly?

Layering Jewellery is a wonderful trend. You can express yourself much more than with a minimalistic approach. My only advice is: if you layer more than 2 pieces of jewellery, keep the shape of your clothes simple, otherwise you risk creating an overwhelming ensemble.

What jewellery trends would you recommend for Spring/Summer?

Colours! Whatever you do and wherever you are, colours are the symbol of summer. I love the idea of floaty kaftans and our Marisa necklaces or city outfits with our druzy St Tropez collection. The St Tropez cuff makes me feel I am holidaying already!
