47 Ronin
Keanu Reeves will be returning to the big screen today as he leads the cast in Carl Rinsch’s action film 47 Ronin.
47 Ronin marks the feature film directorial debut of Rinsch as he moves away from short projects and teams up with Reeves for the first time.

Reeves is set to take on the role of Kai in the film, and is joined on the cast list by Rinko Kikuchi, Tadanobu Asano, Hiroyuki Sanada and Rick Genest.
After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honour to their people.
Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves) - a half-breed they once rejected - as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors.
As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.
47 Ronin is based on a true story, and Chris Morgan and Hossein Amini have written the screenplay, however, there is a fantastical element to this tale as it is set in a world of giants and witches.
So if you are looking for a film that is packed with action this festive season, then 47 Ronin could well be the movie for you.
