Captain America: The First Avenger
Chris Evans is back on the big screen this week as he takes on the role of Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger.
It is the third Marvel movie to hit the big screen this summer with Thor and X-Men: First Class enjoying critical and commercial success in recent weeks.
Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull.
Evans leads an all star cast that includes Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper, Stanley Tucci and Hayley Atwell.
The movie has already claimed the top spot in the U.S. over the weekend and the movie promises to be one of the most action packed and exciting of the summer.
And we will be seeing Captain America on the big screen next summer as Evans will reprise the role in The Avengers - which is currently being filmed.
