- No soon has The Dark Knight been released then rumours of the cast list for the possible third movie are already circulating.

Johnny Depp has been tipped to play villain The Riddler, played by Jim Carey last time the character was on the big screen in 1995, while Philip Seymour Hoffman is rumoured to be in the running for the role of The Penguin.

And it seems it's going to be a busy time for Johnny Depp as he has also been cast as The Mad Hatter in his old mate Tim Burton's re-working of Alice in Wonderland.

- Colin Firth and newbie Ben Barnes have both been cast in the new version of the Oscar Wilde classic Dorian Gray.

The fresh faced Prince Caspian star Barnes has landed the lead role in the adaptation as Gray who shows no signs of aging despite leading an extravagant and corrupt lifestyle.

However his portrait which he hides in the attic, shows a very different picture.

Colin Firth has been cast as Lord Henry Wooton who plays a hand in leading Gray astray.
