Anchorman 2

Anchorman 2

2012 has already been a good year for comedy movies with the likes of Ted and 21 Jump Street making cinema audiences laugh.

And all week we have been looking ahead to some of the movie that will be coming out way next year and today we are checking out the must see comedy film.

- The Hangover III

When The Hangover came out back in 2009 I never expected the film to grow into this comedy franchise.

But that is exactly what has happened as 2013 sees the third, and expected to be final, instalment of the wolfpack's antics.

Alan, Phil and Stu are back for some more mayhem as Zach Galifanakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will reprise their roles.

A plot is yet to be released but you can bet your bottom dollar that it will include and evening of misadventure.

Todd Phillips is set to climb into the director's chair once more and he has also worked on the screenplay with Craig Mazin.

And while the movie is due out next year filming is yet to get underway.

The Hangover III is released 24t May.

- Anchorman 2

It was almost a decade ago when Will Ferrell took on the role of Ron Burgandy for the first time - yes it really was back in 2004.

But 2013 is set to grant the one wish of the legions of fans of the movie... Burgundy back on the big screen.

It was a project that was going ahead, then wasn't going ahead but the film is scheduled for a 2013 release.

Ferrell has also worked on the screenplay while Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate are all set to return.

Adam McKay is also back to work his magic in the director's chair and Anchorman 2 promises to be one of the most highly anticipated comedy movies of the year.

- Grown Ups 2

Now I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Adam Sandler but Grown Ups was one of the funniest comedies when it was released back in 2010.

And 2013 will see Sandler and co return for the sequel. Salma Hayek, Chris Rock, Kevin James and Maria Bello are all back and they are joined by some new faces.

Taylor Lautner, Milo Ventimiglia and Steve Austin (yes the wrestler) have all joined the cast list.

The studio is keeping quite on a plot for now but if it is as funny as the first then they will be on to a winner.

Grown Ups 2 is released 16th August.

- Identity Thief

Identify Thief is one of the none-sequel comedies that we can look forward to next year as Melissa McCarthy teams up with Jason Bateman.

Bateman and McCarthy are a man and a woman whose world's collide when she steal his identity.

John Cho, Jon Favreau, Amanda Peet, Genesis Rodriguez and rapper T.I are all on the cast list.

Seth Gordon is back in the director's chair for the first time since Horrible Bosses last year.

Identity Thief is released 12th July
