It may have only just started filming in Hawaii but Comic Con fans were treated to a teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as Captain Jack Sparrow discussed the new movie.
Yes Jack is back and while that may not fill everyone with joy I am super excited asJohnny Depp returns to the character that we all love the most.
With no Keira Knightly. Orlando Bloom or Gore Verbinski in sight On Stranger Tides is a chance to re-boot the franchise and live up to the excellence that was Curse of the Black Pearl.
And while Verbinski may not be returning to the director's chair for a fourth movie Rob Marshall, the man who brought us Chicago, is at the helm.
And it looks like we are in for one hell of a ride with zombies, mermaids and a "vicious and vivacious" Penelope Cruz all making an appearance.
Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally return to the roles of Barbossa and Gibbs while Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane join the cast.
Pirates of the Caribbean is due to set sail in May 2011.
