Yesterday we looked at some of the actors over the age of forty who are aging very well - and today it is the turn of the ladies.
While it is sometimes suggested that after a certain age actresses end up on the scrap heap but these ten stunning women are seriously bucking that trend.
- Helen Mirren (66)
Helen Mirren may not like those bikini shots that found their way into the media a couple of years ago but there is no doubt that this Oscar winner remains a stunning woman.
At the age of 66 she is the oldest woman on our list but that doesn't appear to be slowing her down as she has had movies left right and centre this year.
And she is also turning her hand to more action roles with The Debt and Red in the last twelve months.
The actress has completed filming on The Door and is currently working on a Phil Spector biopic for TV.
- Meryl Streep (62)
Meryl Streep really doesn't look her age, if I look at good as when I am 50 things will have gone well!!
And there could be more Oscar glory coming the way of the 62 year old for her next movie The Iron Lady - the Academy always love a biopic picture.
The Iron Lady is the first role for Streep since the superbly funny It's Complicated back in 2010.
- Julia Roberts (44)
Julia Roberts won over a legion of fans back in 1990 with that smile and, twenty years on it is still as radiant as ever.
Yes the actress may have been away to have twins but she remains one of the most beautiful women that work in movies.
And she will be back on the big screen and red carpet next year with a Snow White project - in which she is set to play the Evil Queen.

For me Sandra Bullock is the most stunning women to currently grace the big screen - she is a great actress to boot.
It's hard to believe that she is closing in on the big 5-0, it seems that humour is the key to looking fab!
She will be back in the new year Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, her first role since she won an Oscar for The Blind Side.

Turning 50 has not hampered Michelle Pfeiffer's career in any way as the roles have continued to fly in.
This beautiful actress will be back on the big screen at Christmas as she joins the ensemble cast of New Year's Eve, which is directed by Garry Marshall.
She has also just completed work on Dark Shadows, which sees her team up with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.
- Salma Hayek (45)
It's been bad news for the fellas this year as there has been a lack of Salma Hayek on the big screen.
And while Puss in Boots is her new movie, she is only lending her voice to the character of Kitty Softpaws.
But good news she has completed work on Savages and Here Comes The Boom so she will be gracing our screens very soon!

It doesn't matter when and where you see Halle Berry she always looks totally stunning - there is never a single hair out of place.
And for anyone who hasn't seen the trailer for New Year's Eve the Oscar winning actress will be slipping into something slinky in the film when it is released next month.
She is currently filming Cloud Atlas which sees her team up with Tom Hanks and Hugo Weaving.

Julianne Moore may be closing in on 51 but the flame haired actress is looking more youthful and stunning with every movie that she does.
She has mixed her movie work this year with TV moving from comedy Crazy, Stupid Love to TV's 30 Rock.
She has already finished work on Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, Game Change and What Maisie Knew and she is currently working on The English Teacher.
