There's sci-fi on the menu this week with the release of Push which stars Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning.

Nick Gant (Chris Evans) is a young man whose father was genetically altered to be the perfect government assassin. After the brutal murder of his father, Nick swears revenge on the agency that created him.

Hidden in the underworld of Hong Kong, Nick assembles a group of rogue psychics to defeat Division, the covert agency responsible for creating and experimenting with psychic drugs for decades.

Nick teams up with Cassie Holmes, a thirteen-year-old girl who can see the future, to track down a missing girl and a stolen suitcase that could potentially bring the downfall of Division the key to their mutual revenge.

Combining their skills, they outwit assassins and learn about Division's latest secret weapon a powerful and new experimental drug called R16, which could shift the tides of psychic warfare.

So Nick and Cassie with face a whole host of people, friend and foe, with a range of powers and abilities so lets take a closer look at some of them.

Watchers - are trained to self induce visions of the future. A Watchers skill is determined by how far they can see into the future.

Sniffs - are clairvoyants who can track their intended targets usually using personal items.

Shadows - are trained to block the vision of the sniffs by making the sniffs' intended victim or target appear dark.

Pushers - are the most dangerous of those with powers are they can place thoughts, images and memories into the minds of others.

Movers - known as kinetic signature control Movers are trained to manipulate inanimate objects by altering the gravity wave that surrounds it.

Shifters - have the ability to alter light patterns that can create illusions. The length of time this illusion, or shift, lasts depends entirely on the shifters ability and level of experience.

Bleeders - are trained simply for the purpose of assassination and are unique to the Chinese government.
They send out high-pitched sonic vibrations that rupture their targets blood vessels.
