In the film Izzy and Annie have a tough time when they come to a new school. Have you ever experienced that yourself?

B:  We’ve been to several new schools because we’ve moved houses several times. At one school there was a mean popular girl who was upset that we could run faster than her and had better grades than her. So she formed an 'I hate Milly and Becky' club and everyone in the class was invited to join except for us.

At the time it was very hurtful and for a while we sat on our own at lunch in the cafeteria and we could hear them whispering about us and laughing at us and sometimes no one would talk to us for the whole day so we were very glad we had each other at that time.

We used to get home every day in tears, so we definitely know what its like for a popular girl to hate us like in the film.

What did you do in your real life experience?

M:  We told our mom because sharing your problem makes you feel better and less alone and our mom waited to see if things improve and when they didn’t she called the girl’s mom and her mom was apologetic and said the girl was having some jealousy issues because of some family problems. She was never actually mean to us again but she and her group continued to ignore us.

What advice would you give to other girls?

M: You should always tell your parents or teachers because sharing your problem makes you feel better and that’s what we did and try and find other friends. Don’t try and be popular and be part of the mean clique. Try and find our own group of friends.

What is the message of the movie?

B: You should never judge a book by its cover. Just because someone is different to you or doesn’t have much money does not mean that you’re better than them. The kind of person you are is way more important to how much money you have and you shouldn’t be ashamed of who you are.

M: The other message is that you can be fashionable and girly and still get good grades.

Have you been to schools that wear a uniform? Which is better?

M: We’ve been to both and I prefer when there is not a uniform because they are not very flattering and they don’t make you feel very fashionable. At  least without a uniform you can spend time picking out what to wear and accessorize or throw on anything .

Do you prefer British or American schools?

B: There are good things in both. They give you less homework in England than they do in America so I think we like that better about English schools.

How would you describe your own fashion sense?

M: We love bright and girly and sporty clothes. We like to be fashionable, but if something is the height of fashion and we don’t feel comfortable in it or it doesn’t feel right we won’t buy it. I feel most comfortable in jeans and boots and my favorite color is pink.

We don’t have the confidence to bargain like Annie and Izzy but we are good at looking through the racks and finding things that are marked down in price.

B: I like accessories especially necklaces and bags and I really like wearing skirts and leggings, and my fav color is pink too

There is a DVD extra called 'Fashion Frenzy'.  How did you feel when you first saw the wardrobe for the film?

M: Cathyrn Wagner is the costume designer on the movie. She is the nicest person and she put together really creative outfits that we could never have thought up ourselves. When we went to our first fitting we couldn’t believe the rails of cool pink clothes and accessories she found. It was a paradise for us.

On the DVD extra, Double Trouble, it talks about how it was sometimes confusing for the crew to have twins on set. What was that like?

B: I think it was confusing enough for the crew that we are so identical and in some scenes we were wearing the same uniform with the same hairstyle. It got even funnier when our characters swapped places in the movie.  The crew starting calling us MillBecky when they didn’t know which one was which.

You are not offended when people are confused?

M: No not at all and we think it’s very funny. Our sisters just call us twin and we both turn around.

Tell me about the competitive trampoline scene you share with the mean girl Tiffany (Brittany Curran)

B: That was a really fun scene to film. I just did some light bounces and the stunt double who looked like Tiffany and I did all the amazing tricks. I think it turned out to be a really great scene.

Are you fans of the original Legally Blonde film?

M: Well Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2 are two of our favorite films. When we found out we were doing the third one we were really excited. We really hope we don’t disappoint all the Legally Blonde fans because we’ve watched them so many times and we still laugh every time.

Did you meet Reese Witherspoon?

B: Before we started we had lunch with her and we were not disappointed. She was so friendly and chatty and she seems such a kind and caring person.

M: She sent us cookies and a note to our trailer on the first day of filming. She made us feel a lot less nervous and was really encouraging.

Did she give you any advice?

B: She told us to interpret it how we like. She was really encouraging and nice and we are proud she likes the movie.

Does it carry on the Legally Blonde themes?

B: Our movie carries the same message as the first one that you should not judge people before you get to know them. You can also be very fashionable and girly and love pink and still be very responsible and studious.

Will there be a sequel?

M: We would love to do more Legally Blonde films. We love the characters and we hope the audience likes it enough so we can do more.

Have you been getting any fan reaction yet?

B: Because a lot of children watch The Suite Life of Zach and Cody on the Disney Channel they know us from that.  We have had really positive reactions saying they can’t wait to see the movie.

What else are you up to?

M: We are very excited because we are going to film our own pilot on the Disney channel.

Legally Blondes is out on DVD now.
