Monsters Inc

Monsters Inc

Now I have to admit that Monsters Inc is my all time favourite Disney movie and, for me, is their best collaboration with Pixar.

This movie is now a decade old - I know it's hard to believe that it was 2001 - but I have my fingers super crossed that we will be seeing a sequel very soon.

Anyway back to the movie Pete Docter & David Silverman were in the director's chair and they brought together an impressive voice cast including the hilarious John Goodman & Billy Crystal a long with Steve Buscemi and the super cute Mary Gibbs.

Sure this is a kids movie but there are plenty of witty one liners that will keep the adults happy as Goodman and Crystal are just excellent together.

Once again Disney has brought some larger than life and lovable characters to the big screen in a super exciting adventure.

This is perhaps one of the more under appreciated Disney/ Pixar movies but, I would argue, that is the one with the most heart - rivaled only by Toy Story 3.

The movie delivers a a perfect message of laughter is stronger than fear - a perfect idea for the kids.

But there is just something that is so utterly charming about this movie it sweeps you away in the action, which is balanced perfectly with the fun and gags.

As well as two great lead characters in Sully & Mike Wazowski there is a super villain in the form of Randall Boggs, voiced superbly by Steve Buscemi.

MOnster Inc is just a larger than life picture than bring to life a completely new and intriguing world - I fell in love with this movie the first time that I saw it and that has never diminished; despite the great releases that have followed.

Wight great characters, a witty and engaging script and fab animation there really is nothing here not to love!
