In Here Comes The Boom, Salma Hayek stars opposite Kevin James as school nurse Bella Flores and witnesses his attempts at trying to save the schools extracurricular activities program by entering a mixed martial arts competition.

Hayek is known for her impressive record of contrasting on-screen partnerships with famous actors. Some of them were extremely passionate love affairs, whilst others were more about playful friendships than affection.

We have previously seen Salma Hayek and Kevin James appear in Grown Up’s. Hayek plays Roxanne, the delectable, if a little highly strung wife of Lenny (Adam Sandler), and Kevin James is Eric, Lenny’s high school buddy.

The film tells the story of a group of high-school friends who reunite for a weekend away after their high-school basketball coach passes away.

Salma plays Isabel Fuentes opposite Matthew Perry in this 90s romantic comedy. The movie tells the story of two relative strangers who are forced in to a shotgun wedding when Isabel discovers she is expecting his child.

They wonder if they are doing the right thing by staying together for the sake of the baby or whether they’d be best off going their separate ways.

Salma plays surrealist Mexican painter Frida Kahlo in this biopic film with Alfred Molina co-starring as her husband Diego Rivera.

In the movie, we are taken through the highly dysfunctional marriage of the two, brimming with infidelities, contrasting sexuality, and eventually heart wrenching divorce.

- Antonio Banderas in Puss in Boots (2011)

Another on-screen reunion for Salma and Antonio came in the feline form of Puss in Boots. Salma plays Kitty Softpaws, Puss’s (Banderas) female match and together they embark on a magical adventure in this classic fantasy animation
