Skyfall

Skyfall

Quantum of Solace didn't quite do as well with the critics as its predecessor Casino Royale but it enjoyed bug box office success and cemented Daniel Craig as the super spy.

Skyfall is the twenty third Bond movie and will mark the third outing for Craig as 007 and sees the actor reunite with Sam Mendes.

The pair worked together on the superb gangster movie Road to Perdition back in 2002 and now, ten years later, they are back together again.

Skyfall is one of the anticipated movies of the year as the franchise moves away from the Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace plot to bring us a brand new story and a new set of characters.

Craig is my favourite Bond and it is great to see his tenure in the role continue but he is not the only familiar returning as Judi Dench is back as M.

But there is star studded cast list as Craig and Dench are joined by Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney and Oscar winners Javier Bardem.

But no Bond movie is complete without a couple of Bond girls and Skyfall doesn't disappoint as Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris carry on the tradition.

But Harris will not be a shrinking violet when it comes to the role of field agent Eve, and it looks like she can give as good as she gets!!

In Skyfall Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.  As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Ever since Skyfall went into production fans have been getting excited and the trailer promises that is will be bigger and better than the Bond movies that have gone before.

Skyfall looks set to be one of the biggest movie of the year and it could be the most successful Bond movies of all time.

Skyfall is released 26th October
