Johnny Depp has already caused somewhat of a stir at the box office so far this year as he, once again, broke $1 billion.
Yes with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides breaking that barrier it became the third Depp movie to do so.
But he is back later this year for an equally loony role in The Rum Diary, which is based on the Hunter S. Thompson's novel.
It's the second Thompson acting project that the actor has been involved in after starring in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas over a decade ago.
But the first trailer for The Rum Diary has dropped... and it looks like it is going to be one hell of a ride.
Paul Kemp is a freelance journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean.
Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction.
Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart, Giovanni Ribisi and Richard Jenkins are all also on the cast list.
The Rum Diary is released 4th November. Take a look at the first trailer.
