Warm Bodies

Warm Bodies

The supernatural love story has been a huge hit in recent years with the success of The Twilight Saga and that genre looks set to return with new movie Warm Bodies.

Warm Bodies is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion and follows the budding relationship between a zombie and a human.

And we have some new clips from the movie for you to take a little look at:

Nicholas Hoult has a very busy 2013 ahead of him and Warm Bodies is just one of the movies that we will be seeing him in this year - Jack The Giant Slayer being another high profile project.

Teresa Palmer plays his love interest Julie while John Malkovich, Rob Corddry and Dave Franco are also on the cast list.

Jonathan Levine is back in the director’s chair and he has been behind films such as All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and The Wackness in recent years.

Warm Bodies is his first movie project since the fantastic 50/50 and this is a very different genre compared to the rest of his body of work.

As well as being in the director’s chair Levine is also being the adaptation of Marion’s novel having penned the screenplay for the film.

R is a young man with an existential crisis - he is a zombie. He shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades, but he craves something more than blood and brains.

He can speak just a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams.

After experiencing a teenage boy's memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and strangely sweet relationship with the victim's human girlfriend.

Julie is a blast of colour in the dreary and gray landscape that surrounds R. His decision to protect her will transform not only R but also his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world.

There are quite a few projects in this genre this year but could Warm Bodies be the movie that takes the place of Twilight?

Warm Bodies is released 8th February.
