Into the Woods will mark the return of Rob Marshall to the director's chair as he brings the Stephen Sondheim stage musical to life on film for the first time.

Into The Woods brings together some of the most famous fairy story characters and boasts an all-star cast list. Emily Blunt, James Corden, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, and Chris Pine are just some of the actors on board as they take on the The Baker's Wife, The Baker, The Witch, The Wolf, Cinderella, and the Prince.
Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests.
This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel - all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.
Into The Woods has already started to win over the critics with some early screenings and I can't wait to see what Marshall delivers as he returns to the musical genre. We are not going to see too many musicals released in 2015, so if you are a fan of this genre then this is going to be one to savour.
