Man of Steel

Man of Steel

Man of Steel promises to be one of the best movies of the summer as director Zack Snyder brings Superman back to the big screen.

Snyder is known as a very visual director and footage has already hinted that this movie is going to look terrific.

But when you see Snyder in the director's chair, Christopher Nolan serving as producer and David S. Goyer penning the script you know that you are in for a very special movie.

And we have a brand new and very exciting trailer for you to check out - a trailer that shows more of Russell Crowe than ever before:

Henry Cavill is set to take over the role of the caped crusader in what it the biggest role of his movie career to date.

The British actor is set to see his star rocket this summer as he follows in the footsteps of George Reeves and Christopher Reeve - who are just two of the other actors to play this iconic role.

There have already been some great ensemble casts in 2013 and Man of Steel has another eye-watering line-up.

Russell Crowe will take on the role of Jor El, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane will play Jonathan and Martha Kent while Michael Shannon will take over the role of General Zod.

But you cannot have Superman with Lois Lane and Oscar nominee Amy Adams will bring her interpretation of this character to the big screen.

Man of Steel promises to be darker than any Superman movie that we have seen before as Goyer takes this story back to the beginning.

Clark Kent(Cavill) is a young twenty something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination.

Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question... Why am I here?

Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions.
