Monsters University

Monsters University

It is always exciting when there is a Pixar movie on the horizon, and the release of Monsters University is creeping ever closer.

No summer is complete without Pixar delivering an animation treat; this year we are seeing two favourites return to the big screen.

It was back in 2001 when we were introduced to Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan for the first time and now the pair are back as we see them in their university days.

Pixar are rolling back the years and taking us to a time where Mike and Sulley were not the friends we remember from the first film. And we have some great new clips for you to take a look at:

Billy Crystal and John Goodman were such a fantastic team as they brought Mike and Sulley to life and the comedy duo are back.

It is a tradition these days to have a star packed voice cast; the line up for Monsters University really is a great.

Steve Buscemi are back as Randall Boggs while Nathan Fillion, John Krasinski, Helen Mirren and Alfred Molina are all on board.

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer... and he knows better than anyone that the best scarers come from Monsters University (MU).

But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, 'Sulley' (Goodman), a natural-born Scarer.

The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program.

To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

If you are looking for a family film to enjoy this summer then Monsters University is the one for you as it looks set to be as funny and charming as the original.

It is great to see Mike and Sulley back on the big screen and Monsters University is set to be one of the biggest movies of the summer.

Monsters University is released 12th July.
