Amy Adams has revealed that she was intimidated about working with Kristen Stewart.
The pair are currently filming On The Road, a big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac's novel of the same name.
Speaking to E! Online the actress said: "I got requests for autographs, and I didn't ask for a single one.
"I guess I'm getting to the point in my life where I'm suspicious of teenagers and I'm intimidated a little bit.
"[Stewart's] not a teenager but she's close enough and I was very intimidated."
Adams admits that she did talk to Stewart after the Twilight books and was surprised by her response when she told her that she had read the books.
"I told [Stewart] I read the books and she was like, 'You've read the books?' She couldn't compute it, but you have to imagine I was playing this sort of bedraggled drug addict so I'm [sure] she was like, 'That doesn't seem like the audience'.
"But she was incredibly gracious and lovely."
Adams will next be seen on the big screen in The Fighter, which sees her team up with Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg.
