Amy Adams has admitted that when she stared filming Superman: Man of Steel she was distracted by Henry Cavill's physique.

The actress takes on the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's reboot of the franchise while Cavill will take over the role of Clark Kent.

And while the Oscar nominated actress may have been slightly distracted by his good looks his level of dedication and commitment to the role has not passed her by.

Speaking to Access Hollywood the actress said: "It is a little distracting at first. When people first see him, it's like, 'Wow. You're actually really good looking'."

"He's just such a hard worker and I have so much respect for how hard he's worked in this role, just tirelessly. He's doing a great job."

The movie will not be hitting the big screen until 2013 and filming on the movie is currently underway.

Adams and Cavill will be joined by an all star cast as Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner and Michael Shannon are all aboard.

Superman: Man of Steel is set for a summer 2013 release.
