Amy Adams has confirmed she's expecting her first child with fiance Darren LeGallo.
The Doubt star's baby news leaked to the media on Friday (04Dec09), and Adams has revealed she's excited about the idea of becoming a mother.
In an interview to promote her upcoming film Leap Year, Adams told reporters, "I feel great. I’m feeling really good. I'm excited, nervous and excited."
She refused to discuss her due date, but revealed she's in her second trimester.
Adams and Le Gallo announced their engagement in July 2008.
This news tops of a great year for the actress who bagged another Oscar nomination earlier in the year for her role in Doubt.
Since then the actress has had a very busy year with Sunshine Cleaning, Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and Julie & Julia under her belt.
