Bill Nighy Joins Clash of the Titans 2

Bill Nighy is trading pirates for Greek gods after joining the cast of the upcoming Clash Of The Titans sequel.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest star will play fallen god Hephaestus, alongside returning actors Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.

Clash of the Titans hit the big screen twelve months ago and was a remake of the eighties classic.

The movie went on to gross in excess of $493 million at the the global box office - and it was announced last year that a sequel was in the pipeline.

Jonathan Liebesman is set to direct the sequel.

Bill Nighy will be back on the big screen this summer in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
