Breaking Dawn will begin shooting in October according to Deadline Hollywood.

Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in the Twilight Saga series and looks set to be split into two movies, following in the footsteps of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Hobbit.

Melissa Rosenberg is currently adapting the script but the project is yet to name the director that will lead the project.

No release dates have yet been announced.

New Moon ,the second film in the franchise, was a box office smash last November, taking $704 million worldwide, and was one of the biggest movies of last year.

Eclipse hits cinemas this summer and sees Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner return to the central roles of Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black.

David Slade is in the director's chair for the third outing for the franchise, following in the footsteps of Catherine Hardwicke and Chris Weitz.

The movie follows Bella and Edward, who have been reunited, but their forbidden relationship is threatened to be torn apart again with an evil vampire still seeking her revenge.

And Bella is forced to choose between her true love for Edward or her friendship with Jacob Black as the struggles between vampires and werewolves continues.

Eclipse is released 9th July.
