Charlie Sheen is scouting for film locations in Colombia.
The actor is travelling around the country with a camera crew and tells TMZ.com he's hoping to remake a classic 1970s film set in South America.
Sheen is cagey about the project, but not about the actor at the top of his casting wishlist - Nicolas Cage is reportedly in talks to star.
It's been a while since we have seen Sheen on the big screen, popping up as Charlie Harper in Due Date last year.
He has however already completed work on She Wants Me, which is directed by Rob Margolies and also stars Hilary Duff.
He is also set to star in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Bill Murray.
