Cher has admitted that she didn't jump at the chance to star in Burlesque.
The singer turned actress is back on the big screen this week, alongside Christina Aguilera, but revealed that she didn't lile how her character was written
Speaking to Metro the actress said: "I don’t think I finally said yes until I was on the set.
"I didn’t feel it," she commented. "I wanted to sing in a film and I didn't quite feel that Tess was exactly the person I thought she should be and then, little by little, she got better.
"Plus I really wanted to work with Stanley Tucci. I didn’t realise I would have as much fun as I did."
Cher hasn't starred in a movie since Stuck on You back in 2003. she has already lent her voice to Zookeeper and has The Drop-Out in the pipeline.
