Christopher Nolan has heaped praised on Henry Cavill.
Cavill is all set to take on the role of Clark Kent in the new Superman movie Man of Steel and Nolan had admitted that he is 100% behind the casting.
Speaking to Empire Nolan, who is serving as executive producer on the movie, said: "Henry's a terrific choice as Superman.
"Other than having the look, he gave an incredible performance in the test we did and I think he's going to be something really extraordinary in the role."
Zack Snyder will helm the movie and it was revealed earlier this week that Diane Lane has been cast as Martha Kent in the movie.
2011 is set to be a busy year for Nolan as well as overseeing Superman he is also set to direct a third Batman movie.
The Dark Knight Rises sees Christian Bale return to the role of the caped crusader with Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman all reprising their roles.
Anne Hathaway and Tom Hard are new additions to that cast as Catwoman and Bane.
