Diablo Cody To Make Directorial Debut

Diablo Cody is set to step behind the camera to make her directorial debut.
 
Cody became the toast of Hollywood in 2007 when her script for Juno won the Best Screenplay trophy at the Academy Awards.
 
The writer, who also penned scripts for Jennifer's Body and Burlesque, is now turning moviemaker for a new project, Lamb Of God, which she also wrote.
 
The movie shows a young religious woman who loses her faith following a plane crash.

Cody went on to pen Jennifer's Body before moving into television with United States of Tara.

Young Adult was her last writing project and has been directed by Jason Reitman - the movie stats Charlie Theron and Patrick Wilson.
