Edie Falco is returning to the New York stage - she's landed a role in a new show alongside Broadway star Alison Pill.
 
The former The Sopranos star and Pill with debut in the Naked Angels production of Chloe Moss' This Wide Night next month (May10), according to Variety.
 
The Off-Broadway play, directed by Anne Kauffman, follows Pill as an ex-con who receives an unexpected visit from her former cellmate, played by Falco.
 
The actress last appeared on the New York stage in 'night, Mother in 2005 and previously starred in Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune. Pill has also starred on Broadway in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Mauritius and The Miracle Worker.
 
This Wide Night is scheduled to open on 16 May (10).

Since the end of The Sopranos the Emmy award winning actress has continued to enjoy success with 30 Rock and Nurse jackie under her belt.
