Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts insists that she works hard and has not traded on her name.

The teenage actress is the niece of Julia Roberts but admits that she has to work hard to lander her roles.

Speaking to Metro she said: "Sometimes it's frustrating because people think I'm only working or doing stuff because of my family when that's not true at all.

"We actually try to keep work life and family life completely separate, so it's just frustrating when I hear that because I've worked really hard.

"But I just have to fight for myself, fight to be accepted in a way and make my own name for myself."

Despite her frustrations Roberts admits that she would never change her name. "I think that's a little ridiculous because people will find out anyway and then you look like you're trying too hard to be different. You might as well just go with it."

And she is back on the big screen this week as she leads the cast in Noel Clarke's crime movie 4.3.2.1.

She has already had box office success this year as part of the ensemble cast of Valentine's Day, which topped the chart back in February.

And she has a busy year or so ahead of her with a string of projects in the pipeline as What's Wrong With Virginia and It's Kind of a Funny Story are awaiting release.

She has completed filming on Homework and has been linked to a Nancy Drew sequel. It was announced earlier in the week that she would also be joining the cast of Scream 4.
