Emma Watson has called the completion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as the end of an era.

Dan, Rupert and I put our arms around each other and broke down in floods of tears.

The British actress has been playing Hermione Granger for a decade and that will come to a close next summer when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 hits the big screen.

The first part of the movie is in cinemas in a couple of weeks and it will be the first time we have seen Watson on the big screen since Half Blood Prince.

Speaking to The Sun the actress said: "I have played Hermione since I was nine. The last day of filming was the end of an era.

"Dan, Rupert and I put our arms around each other and broke down in floods of tears. It was so emotional."

"I've been trying to think of ways to commemorate the Potter years. I'm not going to get a tattoo or anything, but I'm putting together a photo album for everyone."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is released 19th November.
