End of Watch and The House At The End Of The Street have tied for the top spot at the U.S. box office.

End of Watch sees Jake Gyllenhaal return to the big screen while Jennifer Lawrence leads the cast of the horror movie.

Both films took $13 million over the weekend to tie for the #1 spot - ending the one week reign of Resident Evil: Retribution.

Trouble With The Curve was a third new entry inside the top three at three while Finding Nemo 3D falling two places to this week's number four.

Resident Evil: Retribution spent just a single week in the number one spot and dropped four places to round off the top five.

Dredd was the fourth and final new entry inside the top ten this week as the movie opened at number six.

The movie sees Karl Urban take over the title role and the movie did open at #1 in the U.K.

The Master has been enjoying huge success this week as it climbed twelve places from nineteen to number seven.

The movie is already been tipped as an early Oscar favourite so expect it to feature heavily during the awards season.

The Possession and Lawless were the two biggest fallers this week as they dropped five places to eight and nine.

Animation movie ParaNorman dropped four spots to this week's number ten.
